Sign up for this Wednesday night class with Tama! This is a 12 week class.

Beginner plus to intermediate.

Tama will guide you through working with slabs and other handbuilding methods alongside wheel throwing demonstrations to create work that is truly unique and one of a kind! This class starts with handbuilding. You must have some experience on the wheel and feel very comfortable centering and pulling the walls for the throwing portion of the session.

We will send notification when it is time to purchase clay for the upcoming session. Please do not purchase more than one bag to start. There will not be enough room on your shelf for more than one bag. Your clay will be at the studio on your first day of class. The best clay bodies for handbuilding are 182G, 420 and 108. You can wait until you get to class to choose. Tools are not included, you can purchase tool kits on the website or bring your own.

Each student will get up to two 2.5 hour time slots of open studio each week.

Class meets Wednesdays at 7pm on:
April 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, May 6th, 13th, 20th, 27th, June 3rd, 10th, 17th and 23rd

Refunds requested more than two weeks prior to the first class are fully refundable however there will be a $25 processing fee. There will be no refunds within two weeks of the first class but you can get a credit towards another class. There will be no credits once the class begins in any circumstance, nor can we transfer you to a later semester. We cannot be flexible on this policy for any reason.
