Kids summer camp at Mouse is a super cool way for kids to learn what it’s like to work with clay in an artistic expressive that goes beyond just decorating. In Mouse Ceramic Studio’s summer camp, kids will take part in casting molds themselves from slip, throwing on the pottery wheel, and hand-building with pinch, coil, and slab making methods.

We will have lunch at our original space at 1012 Beverley Road in the backyard, weather permitting. We may also go on trips to the studio for materials as needed, a good way to break up the day and keep the group active and stretched. Park visits will also happen.

Work on the wheel will only be on the first day of each week of summer camp.

Summer camp 2024 takes place in our annex space at 771 Coney Island Avenue which is a few blocks south of the main studio. Annex is down the block from George’s Diner.

Students must bring their own lunch with their name clearly labeled on any items that need to be refrigerated.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

All kids summer camps take place from 9am-3pm Monday through Friday unless otherwise noted.

Ages 6 to 12.

There is a 12 child maximum per week.

We do not prorate or offer one day options as the camp builds day by day.

This is strictly a drop-off summer camp. If our child is unable to attend the camp on their own then they will not be able to join.
