Join Zaina on Monday mornings for this 11 week beginner wheel class!

Zaina will cover the basics of throwing on the wheel from coning, to centering, to opening and pulling the walls. She will also cover finishing techniques like trimming, decorating, and glazing. No experience is required to take this class, all are welcome.

We will send notification when it is time to purchase clay for the upcoming session. Please do not purchase more than one bag of clay to start.There will not be enough room on your shelf for more than one bag. Your clay will be at the studio on your first day of class. All clays except sculpture (420) and terra cotta (108) are appropriate for wheel work. Tools are not included, you can purchase tool kits on the website or bring your own.

Each student will get up to two 2.5 hour time slots of open studio each week.

This class takes place at 930am on Mondays:
Sept 14th, 21st, 28th, Oct 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th, Nov 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd

Refunds requested more than two weeks prior to the first class are fully refundable however there will be a $25 processing fee. There will be no refunds within two weeks of the first class but you can get a credit towards another class. There will be no credits once the class begins in any circumstance, nor can we transfer you to a later semester. We cannot be flexible on this policy for any reason.
